Change the look of Windows Taskbar with ObjectDock

Posted By On 5:33 AM Under
The Windows taskbar has been around ever since the release of Windows 95. Not much has changed since then, other than Microsoft making it a little more colorful but nevertheless an essential part of Windows. The taskbar not only gives you quick access to shortcuts like ‘My Computer’, ‘Control Panel’, ‘Network Places’ and so on but also displays the time as well as the running processes. Though one can say that the look and feel has improved with every new version of Windows, it still lacks the punch that other standalone taskbar replacements have to offer, making it a bit too ordinary for daily use. Just as much as we require a change from our daily routines, a taskbar alternative would be a welcome change from the boring old taskbar.
This is where the application, ‘ObjectDock’ differs in. This little application has all the features of the taskbar and allows you to do much more than just minimize or maximize a window. From the looks of it the program has gone through quite a makeover with nifty features such as the performance options that allow you to optimize it for performance or for memory. The pro version though gives you an edge over the free version, where you can create your docks and fly-out menus
