Activating the window behind the mouse pointer automatically (Vista)
Posted By On 10:52 AM Under Windows Vista
While using your computer, you repeatedly want to make entries in an inactive window without constantly switching between open programs. You would prefer that Windows automatically activated the window that the mouse pointer hovers over, without you having to click in there. Open ‘Start | Control Panel’ and click ‘Ease of Access’ and ‘Ease of Access Center’. Then click the link ‘Make the mouse easier to use’. Check the ‘Activate a window by hovering over it with the mouse’ option and confirm with ‘Apply’ or simply click on ‘OK’. Close the window after you are done. In future, you will not have to click in a window to activate it. Moving the cursor to the window and waiting for a moment will suffice.
